This PAT testing training DVD course has been endorsed by NAPIT, The National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers, as an appropriate portable appliance testing training course and examination.

The portable appliance DVD course will save you money by allowing multiple employees to be trained. One examination is included but further examinations can be purchased separately. This will aid you to train your employees and allows you to save money.

Once the candidate has passed the examination they will gain their Certificate of Technical Competence in Portable Appliance Testing. The candidate is then able to perform PAT testing for a company or as a self employed business.

This form of training is ideal for those who need to learn in their own time and cut out the necessity of travelling.

The DVD course is split into easy to use, small sections that allow the candidate to return and re-cover in order to gain further understanding and clarification. It covers all 240v and 110v appliances including Visual Inspections, Earth Bond, Insulation Testing and Leakage Tests. All types of appliances are tackled from computers to lighting allowing you a full understanding of all appliance testing.

The tutor will take you through all the situations you are likely to encounter as a PAT tester including Offices, Commercial Kitchens, Garage and Industrial Workshops so that you can learn equipment testing in a variety of situations.

The examination itself is made up of 24 multiple choice questions designed to ensure that the subject has been fully understood. Once the exam has been passed the certificate can be printed. If the candidate should fail, the examination can be taken again at no further charge.
